Successful completion of the CORE exam satisfies the requirements of the Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resources for obtaining a Fish & Wildlife ID and purchasing a hunting license in British Columbia

CORE Hunting Licence Exam Challenges may be completed by those who have completed home or online study; there is no prescribed method of study for completing the CORE exam.

Successful completion of the CORE exam satisfies the requirements of the Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resources for obtaining a Fish & Wildlife ID and purchasing a hunting license in British Columbia.

BC Firearms Academy strongly recommends reviewing the Online CORE study material as well as the Free Online Firearms Safety Study Guide.

To be exempt from the firearm safety portion of the exam you must present a valid CFSC course report – we do not charge extra if you need to complete this portion of the exam challenge.

The exam costs $35 with BC Firearms Academy.

Please Bring:

• Writing Material – Pen & Paper
• One piece of government-issued identification (other than the PAL)
• A copy of your CFSC Course Report Form indicating successful completion ( PAL is not Sufficient )
