Can you still transfer handguns in 2023 in Canada?

Yes, but only to a business like BC Firearms Academy. If you have a handgun that needs a home, consider contacting a training facility.

What can I do with a handgun now

If you can’t keep them contact BC Firearms Academy:

Email: info@bcfirearmsacademy.ca

If a civilian handgun is passed to the RCMP it will be destroyed. If given to a training school like BC Firearms Academy it can be given new life as a training gun or even preserved for future generations.
